HELP CUSTOMERS GET MORE FROM THEIR MACHINES AND TECHNOLOGY
Better results on site start with the right equipment, correctly configured technology, and people who know how to use it. Bringing these elements together takes someone who understands both machines and the work they need to do.
Teknoxgroup is looking for a Machine Technology & Application Specialist to help customers select, implement, and use construction machinery and technology solutions across our Southeastern European markets.
Your work will combine machine demonstrations, operator training and practical technical support, including the installation and setup of machine control systems. You will work with Cat® equipment and Trimble technologies, collaborating with customers, sales and service colleagues, manufacturers and other teams across the business.
In this role, you will:
- Assess customer needs and support sales teams in selecting suitable machine applications, technology solutions and technical configurations.
- Prepare and deliver machine demonstrations, practical tests and technology presentations that show customers how solutions work on site.
- Carry out the installation, configuration and commissioning of 2D and 3D machine control systems, working with local service teams and suppliers.
- Help define the components required for technology projects and verify that installed systems work correctly with the customer's equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve machine technology issues, coordinating with service colleagues and manufacturers when specialist support is needed.
- Support machine handovers and train operators and customer technical staff in the safe, effective use of machinery and technology.
- Develop colleagues' practical knowledge through training and guidance for sales and service teams.
- Follow product and technology developments, share customer feedback and provide clear reports on completed work and technical issues.
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Relevant experience with construction machinery, machine control systems, equipment commissioning or technical support.
- A technical qualification in mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
- Good technical understanding of machinery and a practical, systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Confidence using computers, technical software, and digital tools.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to people with different levels of experience.
- Good written and spoken English for technical documentation, training and international cooperation.
- Fluent Slovenian language skills are required; knowledge of Croatian is considered an advantage.
- An organised, independent approach and the ability to cooperate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A Category B driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
Experience operating construction machinery, working with Trimble or similar machine control systems, or delivering equipment demonstrations and technical training would be an advantage. We welcome relevant backgrounds in equipment service, technical support and machinery applications.
What we offer:
- A role within a stable and well-established organisation that is part of the international TESYA Group.
- Practical work with recognised equipment and technologies, Cat® and Trimble, but also SANDVIK and Komptech.
- Professional training and opportunities to deepen your technical knowledge.
- International cooperation with colleagues, manufacturers, and technical specialists.
- A supportive, people-oriented environment with experienced and approachable colleagues.
- The opportunity to see the results of your work in how customers operate their machines and use technology.
If you enjoy solving practical problems, sharing your knowledge, and helping customers get more from their equipment, we would like to hear from you.
